Flywheel, no ring gear, lightweight steel

In the past, when tuning your engine, the cast iron flywheel came in for some serious attention. As much material would be removed as deemed safe. Years of stress caused by engine revs, heat and clutch abuse, may well have pushed this hard-worked part into an unsafe condition. Flywheels and clutches have been known to fail catastrophically. Our brand new steel lightweight flywheels, that only weigh 9lbs/4kgs, are primarily for race use where improved weight reduction can be fully used - and appreciated. They can also be used for road use.

Must use diaphragm clutch and TR3A-4A ring gear and starter motor. The correct clutch release bearing and sleeve must be fitted.
