Returns & Warranty

 

We aim to make returning an item(s) from Moss Europe Ltd as quick and as easy as possible.


 

Returns


All uninstalled or unused goods in their original preā€sale condition and packaging may be returned to Moss Europe Ltd within 90 days of purchase for a refund. A copy of the original invoice or the picking label (which is generally attached to the original packaging) MUST accompany the return.

Return postage and packaging costs must be paid by the customer, unless the return is due to our error, in which case you will be refunded for the return delivery cost (standard or least expensive method of delivery only). If you choose an alternative method of delivery you will be liable for any extra cost. A 'Returns & Warranty Policies' form is included in each order to be completed, alternatively this printable version can be completed and returned. Please pack the items securely and use the delivery return label supplied.

 

Warranty


All parts ordered from Moss Europe Ltd are fully warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Warranty settlements will not exceed the cost of the original component.

EXCEPTION: WE DO NOT OFFER A WARRANTY ON PARTS THAT ARE FITTED TO VEHICLES THAT ARE USED IN MOTORSPORT, COMPETITION, ROAD RALLY OR TRACK EVENTS. FOR THESE PURPOSES, THE BUYER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBLITY THAT THE COMPONENTS ARE FIT FOR USE.

The warranty does not cover:
1. Labour charges.
2. Failure of or caused by related component(s).
3. Failure resulting from incorrect installation or misuse.

 

Warranty Returns


If a part you purchased from Moss Europe Ltd fails in use, please contact the Moss branch from which you purchased it (if applicable) immediately or for parts ordered online contact Moss London. The part may be returned within 12 months from the date of purchase. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice, please note; no warranty claims will be paid without a copy of the original invoice.

You will be refunded for the cost of return delivery, standard or least expensive method of delivery only. If you choose an alternative method of delivery you will be liable for any extra cost. Electrical parts returned for warranty will be tested and if found functional, no refund will be given and the part will be returned to you. Refunds are made via the original payment method.

When returning a part please complete the return form included with each order, pack the items securely and use the delivery return label supplied.

For customers returning warranty parts from outside of the UK, we request that All shipping paperwork used by either a carrier or the Post Office state the return reason as “For Repair” or “Warranty Item Only”. Failure to do so could incur additional Customs & Excise charges which the customer MAY be liable for.

 

Core Returns


Exchange parts are subject to a surcharge that is refunded to you when you send us a rebuildable unit (core) in return. Cores must be returned within 90 days of your purchase. When you receive the rebuilt unit, attached to it will be a CORE RETURN AUTHORISATION TAG. To receive your surcharge refund please remove this tag from the rebuilt unit and attach it to the (core) unit to be returned.

Cores must be returned in the original box or carton supplied with the rebuilt unit. Cores must be clean and empty of fluids. Cores must be complete, assembled and rebuildable to receive your credit or refund. You must pay all delivery charges for the return of the core and these charges are not refundable.

 

Incorrect Delivery


We apologise for any parts incorrectly supplied by Moss Europe Ltd. Should this happen please return these parts to the supplying Moss branch from which you purchased it (if applicable) immediately or for parts ordered online contact Moss London.

You will be refunded via the original payment method for the cost of return delivery, standard or least expensive method of delivery only. If you choose an alternative method of delivery you will be liable for any extra cost.
