Carpet Sets – TR4
This carpet set is very similar to the TR4A, except for the positioning of the hand brake gaiter, which comes through the floor on the right hand side of the car, in common with the TR2/3/3A. This means that for drivers of RHD vehicles there is always something nagging at your left knee while you are driving. The luckier people are drivers of LHD cars, who have their girlfriend in the passenger seat, who are able to lean over and put the fly-off hand brake in the on, or off position as appropriate.
Carpet Sets – TR4A
This specification of carpet includes a gaiter sewn into the transmission tunnel carpet, which accommodates the hand brake. This is not original, as the original carpets simply had a rectangular cut out and the hand brake gaiter was stapled into the fibreboard cover underneath the carpet. We are unable to supply this specification of fibreboard.
