One of the nicest parts of the TR4-4A is (or should be) the dashboard. Let’s face it; both driver and passenger spend enough time looking at it! Many TRs sport all black trim, so the dash is often the only relief to the blackness. The wooden, veneered dashboard panels used in Triumphs of the sixties and seventies tend to suffer from exposure to the elements which can lead to fading & cracking lacquer and lifting veneer. Damaged dashboards can be easily replaced with one of our high quality, real wood veneer panels. For those looking for originality the crown cut (straight grain) walnut is the right choice. If you are looking for something more luxurious then the burr walnut version is for you. TR4-4As were only supplied with gloss lacquered dashboards. For TR3A owners we also offer a burr walnut gauge panel to enhance the dashboard of your car. For full details of dash fittings refer to the Restoration section towards the back of the catalogue. We also offer burr walnut door capping’s to complement our burr walnut dashboards.
