MGB Roadster (1970-72) & GT (1970)
In 1970 the interior trim was revamped by MG, which had by now become part of British Leyland, using vinyl trim throughout for both Roadster and GT models. The reclining seats have fluted centre panels embossed with a basket weave design. The outer panels were of plain vinyl. During this period the colour range was expanded with the addition of Autumn Leaf, Navy Blue, and Ochre. Basket weave material is becoming unavailable in certain colours, we offer a range of alternative seat covers to suit these models.
MGB GT (1971-72)
This seat was unique to the MGB GT, and was introduced at the same time as the advent of the 'plastichrome' mouldings on the door trim panels. The seat covers had outer panels of vinyl, with fluted centre panels of brushed nylon.
