Flywheels keep your engine spinning using momentum and inertia, however manufacturers tend to keep their flywheels on the heavy side to aid drivability in stop start traffic and light throttle usage, fitting a lightweight flywheel means there's less power being used to rotate the extra mass resulting in a much more responsive throttle, a free-r revving engine, and increased fuel economy.

Please note: These flywheels will also fit 1.6l models if combined with a 1.8l clutch.
