S-Type (1999-2008)
The S-Type was the executive model offered by Jaguar between 1999-2009 and the company’s attempt at reviving the 1963-1966 S-Type as a four-door notchback saloon. In 2005, the S-Type received a mild facelift. The most obvious missing feature, was the optional leaping jaguar traditionally found on the bonnet, which was available as an option on the X200 (1999-2002), was then replaced by an incorporated Jaguar logo within the radiator grille. In spring 2008, the S-Type was removed from production and replaced by the Jaguar XF.
