No one wants to run a front number plate; it ruins the lines of the MX-5. However, running into trouble by not having one sometimes doesn't seem worth it and we reluctantly give in to the law. The Flip Down number plate holder is the answer. It displays or retracts in one easy motion. When motoring, pull it out and flip it up; when you're at the car show, retract it for the clean look you admire. Now you can also choose a motorized version that operates with the push of a button from inside or outside your car. James Bond would approve!

Note: We did fit this kit to our NA and NC - the installation was easy and the look was terrific. The installation on our NB was not as straight-forward. Please note that installation on your NB may require additional bracing or spacers, that are not included in this kit. Plate size required approx 12 inches (305mm) x 6 inches (52mm).
