Made from modern foam, this completely flat base was predominantly used on the MkI Coopers, however, this flat style foam was also used on the reintroduced Cooper of the 90's. It is advised to fit new foams with new seat covers as the old covers are often glued to the foam, causing damage upon removal, however, due to the rear seats being used less than the fronts, it is down to your discretion whether to do this or not.
