Water Probe Indicator

The water probe indicator will detect the presence of water in your fuel tank. Water will collect at the very bottom of your tank. If you use modern fuel that has ethanol blended in it, and you don't drive your classic very often, the ethanol helps form water in your vented tank, and that in turn causes rust and sludge and poor performance. You will need to determine if you can pass a dip stick through the filler neck all the way to the bottom of the gas tank. Simply apply the water probe detector on the dip stick, which turns red to show the exact level of water in your fuel tank.
