The Triumph TR7, a sports car produced in the United Kingdom, was manufactured by British Leyland Motor Corporation (BLMC) from September 1974 to October 1981. In 1975, BLMC rebranded itself as British Leyland (BL). The TR7 made its debut in the United States in January 1975, followed by its UK launch in May 1976. The UK release was postponed multiple times due to high demand in the US, with final sales of new TR7s extending into 1982.
