High torque starter motor for Jaguar V12 engines except those fitted to early V12 E-Types up to engine number 7S 7000 that had a 29mm pinion. This unit has a 25mm pinion and fits most E-Type series 3, All XJ12 and all XJ-S V12.

Modern lightweight replacement for the original starter produces higher torque with less draw from the battery so especially good in the cold or with high compression engines turning the engine over faster with less effort.

Being smaller and lighter they are often easier to fit as an added advantage.
