This is the later type of oil pump, with a more efficient angled pick-up, which will produce sufficient oil pressure for all requirements. For competition use, it is recommended that the new pump is checked to ensure that the tolerances and clearances are kept to the lower end of the scale. Note; Check camshaft drive gear.
