The 1500 models all use this type of unit with electric tachometer which, for a road car can be made to produce good results with only minor tweaks to the springs with our advance spring set, TT1903. It may be necessary to change your spark plugs for ones with a different heat range, we supply top quality NGK plugs in a variety of heat ranges. We also supply two alternative units with reduced curves to be used with either SU carburettors with vacuum advance, or side-draught Webers without vacuum advance. Our competition Lucas distributors are rebuilt units with low advance curve suitable for modified cars, sold on exchange basis for your old unit.
