Exterior Handle Lock Sets - MkI-II
We offer both the MkI & MkII styles of door lock & complete lock sets.
There are two different types of door handles for the early MkI-II door. The early type, 1959-65, was a standard door handle whereas from 1966 onwards a safety boss (to stop people catching themselves on the early handle) was fitted to the door skin, under the end of the handle. This meant a shorter door handle was made to allow fitment for the boss.
Originally only one lock was fitted to these cars, the exterior handle on the driver's side and the interior passenger side. In the inside of the car, the reverse was the case, with the passenger's lock assembly incorporating a safety catch and the driver's side lock assembly not. All door handles we now supply are of the locking type.
All handles are chrome plated and the sets include a pair of matched keys for all locks.
