Getting tube joints correct can be difficult without the right equipment. Strong 'fish mouth' joints depend on precisely cut tubing. Trying to fill a poor joint with a thick weld bead not only looks bad, but can lead to disastrous joint failure.

This notcher provides accurate alignment for fast accurate cutting. They are particularly useful for those doing home or special builds where frame or wishbone construction is included. Both types either bolt to workbench or fit in a drill press. Requires hole saw set (MTR5056) sold separately.
