Give your Mx5 a cool accent with the new Retro Shift Plates. Measuring 20mm (.78") by 30mm (1.18") wide, each plate is precision water-jet cut at 1mm thickness. The aluminium plates are sized such that you can fit them anywhere. You can sport your shift plate on the right side of an NB centre console, or on the plastic hub cover if you do not have the factory steering wheel. The plate is pliable enough to even mount a curved surface with the included 3M mounting tape. Just like the factory, the shift pattern is a die-cut sticker printed on special brushed aluminium vinyl. Installation is quite easy. You can either drill and mount the plate with the included tiny button-head cap-screws, or glue the cap-screw heads and install with the 3M mounting tape. The kit includes enough tape to remove and install the plate a couple of times.
