Beginning as the Swallow Sidecar Company in 1922, it began making motorcycle sidecars, before changing its name to S.S. Cars Limited and producing cars. The S.S. Cars name was changed to Jaguar in 1945, they then began producing some of the most beautiful and fastest cars in the world. From the racing pedigree of the XK120 and the sleek lines of the E-Type to the queens own X305 and the beautifully modern F-Type, Jaguars all share the same pedigree and DNA. Jaguar has been owned by numerous different companies including Ford and British Leyland. Owned by Tata motors since 2008 the Jaguar symbol is now a globally recognised brand and continues to inspire their old motto, ‘Grace, Space, Pace’.
