No other British classic car has quite achieved the cult status as the Mini. The forerunners of today’s breed of ‘hot hatchbacks’, the Mini has established a fanatical following since its inception in 1959 all the way up to the later 90’s models. Their unique combination of performance, practicality, handling and charm has made these little cars what we know and love today. The Cooper S was undoubtedly the king of the Minis and only produced between 1961 to 1971, they are still instantly recognizable anywhere in the world as the icon of the 1960’s.
