Road - This is a good profile for the TR engine giving a wide power band and allowing lots of mid-range torque to be available. When fitted with an Extractor manifold, front junction, front pipe, and GT silencer system the breathing of the engine will be improved and allow it to ‘rev' easier. A modified cylinder head, K&N air filter and ‘SM' needle will help increase the power range within the main power band, although this will be extended slightly. With these conversions the cam will allow the unit to be more free revving, producing the best power for a ‘road' car. The camshaft is for either SU or Weber/Dellorto carburettors. The profile will peak out at 5000rpm with a gentle fall off. The best top end power is produced with a Stage III or IV cylinder head. See the details tab below for more information.
