New competition distributors now come in the 45D format with push-in leads to a side entry cap. We can supply modern ignition leads for side entry caps or, we can supply a low profile side entry cap to take the early type screw in lead, but, this must be fitted with matching rotor arm. Low profile caps are particularly suitable for Sprite I. We can supply a distributor for fast road use with a vacuum unit or, for competition use without a vacuum unit; these both have a modified advance curve to suit either a fast road or competition camshaft, note the vacuum unit is a push-on connection. The cap has been specially modified to fit by removing the screws and filing grooves for the clips to sit in, the points are of the high performance self cleaning type.
