Revotec Electronic Fan Controllers

Revotec adjustable electronic fan controllers can be retro fitted to any existing electric cooling fan system to give precise switching of the cooling fan.

These units use the latest type of surface mounted electronic controllers to sense the temperature of the water in the cooling system. The controllers are designed to fit neatly into the cooling system without using capillary probes or radiator mounted clip on devices. This ensures that the coolant flow is not impeded, accurate temperature control and effective sealing of the coolant system are maintained.

There are 3 types of EFC available:

Hose Fitting (Illus. A) – these EFCs fit directly into the top or bottom hose depending upon available space. The hose should be cut and the EFC installed according to the instructions.

Threaded Fitting (Illus. B) – the EFCs screw directly into radiators or coolant pipes fitted with an M22 x 1.5mm boss. Bosses are available in either brass or aluminium.

Self-Sealing Fitting (Illus. C) – Using a unique design the fitting forms a perfect seal. The fitting fits through a hole in the wall of the hose and is screwed in to place. The SSF must be mounted horizontally or lower to ensure water enters the EFC.
